Due to continued growth, Esri Ireland is looking for GIS Consultants to join the Services Team. Working with the latest Esri technology, you will be part of a highly skilled and diverse team that delivers solutions to real-world scenarios. Training and development are provided, whether you are starting your GIS career or already experienced as a GIS Consultant.
**Responsibilities:**
- Work with a wide variety of organisations across multiple industries (transportation, public safety, government, utilities, insurance, the natural environment, retail) to deliver GIS-based solutions.
- Consult with clients and act as a trusted technical advisor, demonstrating best practice with Esri technology and helping customers grow their understanding of the ArcGIS Platform.
- Consult/cooperate with clients (individually or as part of a team) to understand requirements and implement GIS-based solutions to meet those requirements.
- Provide technical input and guidance for business development opportunities.
- Maintain and develop an understanding of the ArcGIS Platform and how customers can use it to solve real-world problems.
- Create desktop, web, and mobile applications that use Esri technology.
**Requirements:**
- Passion for and knowledge of GIS, with a strong interest in applying GIS to business and real-world solutions.
- Experience (some or all) with: ArcGIS Pro / Desktop, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Mobile Apps, and/or ArcGIS Online, plus web technologies.
- Ability to prioritise workload and deliver to deadlines.
- Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
- Interest in or experience of consulting with clients to understand their needs.
- Naturally curious and inquisitive; strong at creating and nurturing relationships; enthusiastic about problem-solving.
- Desire to bring skills and experience to help customers be successful.
- Interest in a role offering excellent training, coaching, and future career opportunities, including involvement in projects that make a real difference.
**Nice to have (not essential):**
- Scripting or developer environment experience such as JavaScript, REST, and Python.
- Web design experience such as HTML and CSS.
- Knowledge/experience of server and/or cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
