**Estimated Base Salary Range:** USD 108,160 – 180,960

**Overview:**
As an established thought leader in the forestry industry, this role focuses on evangelizing how geospatial understanding and GIS enable organizations to work smarter. The position emphasizes the importance of spatial analysis—understanding where things occur—to help teams solve complex business problems in more advanced and effective ways.

This role is ideal for professionals who understand how global forestry organizations operate and how they achieve greater success through the strategic use of GIS. The position offers the opportunity to join Esri as an industry thought leader who communicates the value of GIS in current workflows and demonstrates how GIS can transform organizations.

You will develop industry messaging across global markets and collaborate with industry experts, marketing professionals, and external organizations to drive geospatial awareness and demand within the forestry sector.

**Responsibilities:**
- Deliver industry thought leadership through a regular cadence of content, including:
- Webinars
- Case studies
- Marketing collateral
- Social media programs
- Videos
- Event plans
- Demonstrate the value of the ArcGIS platform to forestry organizations through real-world use cases.
- Research, analyze, and monitor relevant industry and technology trends to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Support strategic opportunities as a subject matter expert and collaborate with account managers to increase penetration within key accounts.
- Work closely with industry and marketing professionals to support both tactical and strategic messaging on a global scale.
- Provide insights on customers and competitors to forestry account teams.
- Participate in joint value messaging initiatives targeted at industry executives.
- Stay current on the competitive landscape within the forestry and geospatial technology space.
- Leverage deep industry knowledge in discussions with technology teams to ensure ArcGIS solutions are fit for purpose.
- Collaborate across business, marketing, and technical teams to align industry needs with product capabilities.

**Requirements:**
- Widely known, respected, and influential within the forestry industry.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience at key forestry or closely related organizations, demonstrating geospatial innovation and advanced use of software technology.
- Executive leadership experience with a proven ability to strategize, inspire teams, and achieve organizational goals.
- Strong experience working in multi-disciplinary teams with the ability to collaborate, communicate, and influence both business and technical audiences.
- Demonstrated excellence in written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of marketing objectives, strategies, and tactics.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Geography, or Business.

**Recommended Qualifications:**
- Master’s degree in Forestry, Geography, or Business.
