**Estimated Base Salary Range:** USD 108,160 – 180,960

**Overview:**
As an established thought leader in the K-12 education sector, this role focuses on making connections that enable educational organizations to work smarter through a geographic approach. The position emphasizes the value of spatial analysis—understanding where things occur—to help institutions solve common challenges in more sophisticated and effective ways.

This role is ideal for professionals who understand how educational institutions become more successful when using GIS and who want to see those successes replicated across global markets. You will join Esri as an industry advocate, evangelizing the value of GIS and collaborating with marketing and sales professionals to drive demand and new business opportunities in the K-12 education industry.

**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and execute comprehensive industry marketing strategies aligned with business objectives for the K-12 education industry.
- Deliver thought leadership through a regular cadence of content, including:
- Webinars
- Case studies
- Marketing collateral
- Social media programs
- Videos
- Event plans
- Demonstrate the value of the ArcGIS platform to K-12 education organizations through real-world examples.
- Synchronize and integrate marketing and sales plans into annual global business development plans to coordinate resources and execution.
- Research, analyze, and monitor relevant industry, technological, and financial trends to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Serve as the industry expert and advocate across departments, teams, and organizational groups.
- Support strategic business opportunities as a subject matter expert and collaborate with account managers to drive adoption in key accounts.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align industry needs with product capabilities.

**Requirements:**
- Minimum of 8 years of experience at key education organizations, demonstrating geospatial innovation and advanced use of software technology.
- Executive leadership experience with a proven ability to strategize, inspire teams, and achieve organizational goals.
- Strong experience working in multi-disciplinary teams with the ability to collaborate, communicate, and influence both business and technical audiences.
- Widely known, respected, and influential within the education industry.
- Demonstrated excellence in written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of marketing objectives, strategies, and tactics.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Education, Business, or a similar field.

**Recommended Qualifications:**
- Master’s degree or higher in Geography, Education, Business, or a similar field.
- Understanding of Esri software and the ArcGIS platform.
