In this role, you will develop industry messaging across global markets and collaborate with industry experts, marketing professionals, and external organizations to drive awareness and demand in the oil & gas and integrated energy sectors.
**Responsibilities:**
- Deliver industry thought leadership through a regular cadence of content, including:
- Webinars
- Case studies
- Marketing collateral
- Social media programs
- Videos
- Event plans
- Demonstrate the value of the ArcGIS platform to oil & gas and integrated energy organizations through real-world use cases.
- Research, analyze, and monitor relevant industry and technological trends to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Support strategic opportunities as a subject matter expert and collaborate with account managers to drive penetration within key accounts.
- Work with and manage a team of industry and marketing professionals to support tactical and strategic messaging globally, including coordinated marketing campaigns.
- Build and support a strong sense of community among Esri clients to better understand and serve their interests.
- Stay current on the competitive landscape and participate in joint value messaging initiatives targeted at industry executives.
- Leverage deep industry knowledge in discussions with technology teams to ensure ArcGIS tools are fit for purpose.
- Collaborate across business, marketing, and technical teams to align energy industry needs with product capabilities.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum of 8 years of experience at key oil & gas or large integrated energy organizations.
- Demonstrated geospatial innovation and advanced use of software technology.
- Executive leadership experience with the ability to strategize, inspire teams, and achieve organizational goals.
- Strong experience working in multi-disciplinary teams with the ability to collaborate, communicate, and influence both business and technical audiences.
- Widely known, respected, and influential within the oil & gas or integrated energy industry.
- Demonstrated excellence in written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of marketing objectives, strategies, and tactics.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geology/Earth Science, or a related field.
**Recommended Qualifications:**
- Master’s degree in Geography, Geology/Earth Science, or a related field.
