**Estimated Base Salary Range:** USD 87,360 – 139,360
**Overview:**
Leverage your Electric and Gas Energy Utility industry experience to inform, educate, and inspire Esri users and prospects within the Energy Utility industry. In this role, you will identify, craft, and execute marketing campaigns that support targeted goals and objectives.
As an Industry Solutions Specialist, you will research and report on financial, technological, and other factors that affect the Energy Utility market. You will collaborate closely with key internal stakeholders to help define, execute, and measure the Energy Utility marketing plan while building deep GIS domain expertise.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist Industry Managers in engaging with internal teams including marketing, sales, products, professional services, international distributors, education, and partner teams to successfully deliver campaign tactics.
- Support a regular cadence of industry-focused content such as:
- Webinars
- Customer success stories
- eBooks
- Blogs and articles
- Social media content
- Community posts
- Draw upon industry knowledge, research, writing, and collaboration skills to support messaging and campaign execution.
- Prepare for, manage logistics, and personally engage in events including:
- Conferences
- Trade shows
- Seminars
- Webinars
- User group meetings
- Contribute to the growth of the Energy Utility community across social media platforms and the Esri Community.
- Work collaboratively with marketing staff to create, manage, and execute campaign tactics, including effective internal communications, to meet team goals.
- Track campaign progress and proactively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to move activities forward.
- Prepare a wide range of content using industry knowledge, research, and relationships, including:
- Presentations
- StoryMaps
- eBooks
- Blogs and articles
- Technical papers
- Web content
- Social media posts
- Press and advertising materials
- Research, evaluate, and assist with strategic industry positioning and gain validation from internal and external experts.
- Develop deep GIS domain expertise and provide industry expertise to support:
- Internal requests
- Partner engagements
- Customer meetings
**Requirements:**
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the Energy Utility industry.
- Knowledge of GIS and its application within the Electric and Gas Utility domain.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
- Highly organized, strongly self-motivated, and able to manage multiple activities with shifting priorities.
- Quick learner with a positive attitude.
- Strong decision-making, problem-resolution, and creative thinking skills.
- Team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, GIS, Geography, or a related field.
**Recommended Qualifications:**
- Familiarity with web-based business systems.
- Master’s degree in Engineering, GIS, Geography, or a related field.
