GIS Installation and Commissioning Supervisor

**Hitachi Energy** is hiring a **GIS Installation and Commissioning Supervisor** for its High Voltage Product Business Unit in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The role is critical in supervising the installation, repair, and commissioning of high-voltage GIS systems.

**Responsibilities:**

- Support installation and commissioning with high technical standards.
- Independently execute installation and maintenance tasks.
- Ensure adherence to all safety and live system handling protocols.
- Update drawings and technical documents to reflect on-site changes.
- Coordinate workforce planning with sub-supplier’s installation superintendent.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to track project progress.
- Inspect incoming materials for completeness and potential damage.
- Handle material coordination and non-conformance reporting.
- Oversee final testing, loop checks, and commissioning documentation.
- Participate in site meetings and ensure execution of all assigned responsibilities.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by management to support job requirements.

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in GIS installation and commissioning.
- Proficiency in handling SF6 gas and familiarity with Hitachi GIS systems preferred.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Strong understanding of technical documentation, site coordination, and safety practices.
