**About the Role**
The **GIS Lead** will head the GIS team within the Central Riyadh Regeneartion Program. The role requires a seasoned GIS professional with deep expertise in urban planning, spatial analysis, database management, and digital mapping. The GIS Lead will supervise two GIS Specialists and collaborate across disciplines to provide accurate insights that drive urban development, heritage conservation, and infrastructure decisions.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and mentor two GIS Specialists, ensuring efficient workflows and quality deliverables.
- Design and implement GIS methodologies for master planning, land use, infrastructure, and real estate projects.
- Oversee collection, validation, and integration of geospatial data; ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Use ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and BIM for spatial analysis, models, interactive maps, and dashboards.
- Maintain and optimize geospatial databases, schema integrity, and import/export processes.
- Partner with Real Estate Lead and other teams; coordinate with municipal authorities for data integration.
- Deliver tailored GIS reports, dashboards, and visualizations for impact assessment and tracking.
- Introduce new GIS technologies and methods to improve efficiency and planning.
**Qualifications & Experience**
- 15+ years in GIS, geospatial analysis, and urban planning on large-scale developments.
- Bachelor’s (Master’s preferred) in Urban/Town Planning or GIS.
- Proficiency in ArcGIS, AutoCAD, MS Office; Adobe Creative Suite and BIM are plus.
- Strong background in geospatial databases, cadastre, land use, and real estate projects.
- Proven leadership in managing GIS teams on multidisciplinary projects.
- Excellent visualization and reporting skills.
- Must be Saudi-based; English fluency required, Arabic desirable.
