**Compensation:** $38.00–$52.25/hour (DOE)
**Role Summary**
Provide moderately complex GIS support to Analysts and District staff. Create, update, and maintain maps, layers, and enterprise geodatabases. Assist with spatial/hydrologic analyses, QA/QC of incoming data, geoprocessing models, troubleshooting, and training. Contribute to maintaining accurate GIS datasets in support of District operations.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Support GIS Analysts and District staff with technical GIS tasks.
- Perform spatial and hydrologic analyses using ArcGIS.
- Design, update, and maintain maps, drawings, spreadsheets, data layers, and documentation.
- Standardize web maps, templates, and cartographic products.
- Conduct data aggregation, QA/QC, transformation, and import into the enterprise geodatabase.
- Develop/test custom geoprocessing models and Python-based tools.
- Test GIS software upgrades and resolve issues.
- Provide training, documentation, and technical support for GIS applications.
- Procure/manage utility-related documents per retention rules.
- Serve as GIS resource to District staff and external partners.
**Qualifications**
- 3+ years of GIS/cartography/utility network experience (sanitary or storm sewer preferred).
- Associate’s degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Engineering, IT, or related field; or equivalent experience/education.
- Strong knowledge of **ArcGIS Desktop & Web**, hydrologic analyses, geodatabase design.
- Experience with **Python scripting**, QA/QC, and troubleshooting.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- GIS certification preferred.
