**About Us**
The General Organization for the Conservation of Coral Reefs and Turtles in the Red Sea (SHAMS) is a Saudi government body founded in 1443 AH to protect, manage, and sustain coral reefs and marine turtles along the Red Sea through innovative monitoring, rehabilitation, and restoration.

**Job Purpose**
Support SHAMS’ conservation mission by applying GIS, remote sensing, and imaging tools to collect, analyze, and visualize spatial data for monitoring and restoration of marine ecosystems.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Apply geographic analysis and satellite/remote sensing data for mapping.
- Prepare detailed GIS maps for monitoring and conservation.
- Support environmental monitoring and impact assessments, including 3D modeling.
- Generate reports and analytical maps for conservation/restoration planning.
- Collaborate with marine scientists and tech teams; align data with organizational goals.
- Develop and maintain geographic databases; update records and ensure accuracy.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by the line manager.

**Skills & Competencies**
- GIS & remote sensing expertise.
- Basic photogrammetry and drone knowledge.
- Strong environmental/spatial data interpretation.
- Map/report preparation skills; team collaboration.
- Proficiency in English (reading/writing).

**Qualifications**
- Saudi nationals only.
- Bachelor’s in GIS, Environmental Sciences, or related.
- ArcGIS/QGIS proficiency; remote sensing tools.
- 3+ years’ relevant experience, ideally in marine/environmental projects.
