**Amrize** is hiring a **GIS Specialist** to join their **Mining and Resource Management Team** in **Lakewood, Colorado**. This role supports mining and environmental projects through geospatial analysis, mapping, data modeling, and CAD integration, contributing directly to critical infrastructure and resource management.
**Salary Range:** \$70,000 – \$90,000/year
**Location:** Lakewood, CO
**Schedule:** Full-Time | <10% Travel
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Create and maintain GIS and CAD-based maps, drawings, and databases.
- Assist in spatial data entry, digitization, and analysis for mining and land projects.
- Produce layouts, map visuals, and spatial models to support geological and environmental teams.
- Support the implementation of GIS workflows and process improvements for reserve/resource mapping.
- Apply best practices in health, safety, and environmental compliance in all GIS-related operations.
**Required Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geology, Mining, or related field.
- 3–5 years of GIS experience in a technical or industrial setting.
- Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, CAD, and SQL.
- Familiarity with Python scripting, QGIS, and FME is a plus.
- Understanding of geospatial data standards, remote sensing, and spatial modeling techniques.
