GIS Specialist – Platform Integration & Feature Extension (ESRI)

Kaizen Analytix is seeking a contract-based **GIS Specialist** to lead advanced integration and feature development across the ESRI ecosystem. This part-time remote role (10 hours/week) is ideal for a senior geospatial developer with strong experience in spatial data architecture, cloud integration, and API-based feature extension.

**Rate:** \$50–\$90/hour
**Type:** Part-time (Remote, 10 hrs/week)

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and build platform integrations with ESRI ArcGIS tools and APIs.
- Develop custom features using **ArcGIS JavaScript API**, **ArcPy**, and **ArcGIS Pro SDK**.
- Automate data ingestion and export between GIS and enterprise systems (e.g. ERP, asset management, IoT).
- Ensure high data integrity with schema validation, topology rules, and versioning.
- Document integration workflows, system architecture, and technical decisions.
- Troubleshoot integration and spatial data issues across cloud and on-prem environments.

**Required Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in GIS, Computer Science, or Geospatial Technology.
- 5+ years of experience in GIS platform integration and ESRI development.
- Strong command of spatial data formats (GeoJSON, GDB, KML, Shapefile) and ETL pipelines.
- Skilled in **Python**, **JavaScript**, **PostGIS**, and **SQL-based geospatial processing**.
- Comfortable working with RESTful services, SDKs, and enterprise data flow management.

**Preferred Experience:**
- Familiarity with **cloud GIS architecture** (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Exposure to OGC standards (WMS/WFS) and geospatial interoperability.
- Domain knowledge in urban planning, environmental GIS, or infrastructure asset systems.
- Agile and DevOps collaboration mindset.
