The State of North Carolina is hiring a GIS Support Analyst (Contract) to serve as a key member of its GIS help desk unit. This fully remote position offers technical troubleshooting and spatial analysis support across multiple GIS systems.

**Contract Duration:** 12 months with potential extension
**Pay:** $40.00 – $50.00 per hour
**Type:** Remote, Contract
**Level:** Mid-Level

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide real-time support for GIS users across the state via help desk operations.
- Use ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online for spatial data troubleshooting and analysis.
- Communicate directly with end users to gather complaints and troubleshoot issues.
- Document, assign, and resolve issues using ServiceNow or similar systems.
- Maintain detailed problem logs and route unresolved tickets to the appropriate GIS team.

**Required Skills:**
- Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
- Experience writing and managing tickets within ServiceNow.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with linear referencing techniques and GIS analysis workflows.
