**Hitachi Energy** is hiring a **GIS Technical Advisor** to support the worldwide installation and technical supervision of High Voltage GIS systems from their base in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The advisor will oversee fault resolution, system repair, and installation activities while representing Hitachi Energy’s standards on-site.
**Responsibilities:**
- Independently carry out installation and maintenance work for High Voltage GIS.
- Ensure full technical compliance with installation requirements and live system safety protocols.
- Update and mark-up technical drawings and documentation to reflect real-time changes.
- Support sub-supplier installation supervisors in workforce planning and scheduling.
- Cooperate with the Project Manager to monitor the completion status of all tasks.
- Inspect incoming materials for completeness and condition; coordinate material logistics.
- Issue non-conformance reports for damaged or missing equipment in collaboration with the Project Manager.
- Supervise final system tests, loop checks, and documentation handovers.
- Attend project site meetings as required by the Project Manager.
- Ensure all tasks assigned by management are fulfilled with precision and professionalism.
- Act as the technical face of Hitachi Energy on international project sites.

**Requirements:**
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 8+ years of GIS installation and supervision experience, preferably in international or high-voltage settings.
- Hands-on experience with SF6 gas handling.
- Familiarity with HE-CH (Hitachi Energy Switzerland) GIS products is preferred.
- Strong English communication skills (spoken & written).
- Commitment to quality, safety, and on-site technical leadership.
