**Role Summary**
Serve as Hitachi Energy’s technical ambassador on site, responsible for installation, fault elimination, repairs, and maintenance of GIS (Gas-Insulated Switchgear) systems. Uphold safety, quality, and cost-efficiency while ensuring project deadlines and client satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Independently carry out installation and maintenance of GIS systems.
- Ensure compliance with installation requirements, instructions, and safety guidelines for live components.
- Red-mark drawings/documents for changes during installation.
- Advise sub-suppliers on workforce planning and coordination to meet project schedules.
- Inspect arriving material for completeness and damage; coordinate handling with suppliers.
- Issue non-conformance reports with the HE Project Manager for missing/damaged equipment.
- Supervise final installation tests and ABB/HE completion documentation.
- Coordinate loop check activities and participate in site meetings.
- Track completed vs. pending work with the Project Manager.
- Uphold compliance with all internal/external regulations and guidelines.
- Represent Hitachi Energy’s safety and integrity values on all sites.
- Perform additional assigned tasks necessary to fulfill role requirements.

**Your Background**
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
- 8+ years’ experience with GIS systems.
- Hands-on SF6 gas handling experience.
- Familiarity with Hitachi Energy GIS products.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
