As a Product Manager for ArcGIS Notebooks and ArcGIS Python Libraries, you will empower these users by enabling spatial data science workflows and supporting scripting and automation of analysis and management tasks.

In this role, you will define the vision and product strategy for ArcGIS Notebooks and Python libraries across multiple implementation patterns, including desktop, server, and SaaS environments. You will help Esri stay ahead of the competition by driving innovation and ensuring these products meet the evolving needs of analysts, data scientists, and developers.

This position requires a proactive and self-motivated individual who collaborates across Esri teams, partners, international distributors, and a broad range of customers. The role has high visibility with Esri leadership and the global ArcGIS community.

**Responsibilities:**
- Maintain deep knowledge of spatial data science and related technologies, serving as a subject matter expert across the product team and the wider organization.
- Define and inform product strategy for ArcGIS Notebooks and ArcGIS Python Libraries, ensuring cohesion and continuity across Esri products.
- Collaborate closely with development, engineering, and other product teams to align technical execution with product vision.
- Plan and manage the full product lifecycle for all aspects of ArcGIS Notebooks and ArcGIS Python Libraries.
- Conduct competitive analysis and perform ongoing market research.
- Gather and synthesize requirements from multiple sources, including direct customer interactions.
- Present, evangelize, and promote products within the user community and at:
- Internal and external conferences
- Trade shows
- Hackathons
- Webinars
- Publications
- Social media channels

**Requirements:**
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical product management or a related field.
- Experience with spatial analysis tools and technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Python, Jupyter Notebooks, and/or open science technologies.
- Experience creating products for analysts and data scientists.
- Experience managing products with multiple implementation options or architectural patterns, including SaaS, server software, desktop software, and APIs.
- Strong storytelling, listening, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Effective time management and organizational abilities.
- Excellent technical-level verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
- Willingness to travel 10–20% of the time.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Computer Science, Engineering, Remote Sensing, Photogrammetry, or a related field.

**Recommended Qualifications:**
- Experience with GIS software.
- Proven success delivering products in one or more of the following areas:
- Data engineering or data science
- Visualization and exploration
- Spatial analysis
- Machine learning, deep learning, or AI
- Modeling and scripting
- Big data platforms
- Analytics operationalization
