Esri is hiring a Security Product Engineer I for the ArcGIS Enterprise team. The role focuses on securing ArcGIS Enterprise by designing, testing, and improving security features across distributed systems and cloud environments.
**About the Role:**
The Security Product Engineer will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, performing penetration testing, designing secure system components, and guiding users and internal teams on best practices for securing ArcGIS Enterprise deployments. This role blends cybersecurity, software engineering, and GIS platform knowledge.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform penetration testing on the ArcGIS Enterprise product suite.
- Identify, report, and validate fixes for security vulnerabilities.
- Lead cross-team initiatives to address security risks.
- Design and implement security features for ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Develop and execute test plans for integration with identity providers and directory services.
- Support integration with third-party security systems.
- Advise support and professional services teams on security-related issues.
- Collaborate with development teams on secure software design and implementation.
**Requirements:**
- At least 1 year of experience in application security or software security.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work across teams and lead security-related efforts.
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, GIS, or related field.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Master''s degree in a related field.
- Experience administering ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Experience working within software development teams.

- Salary range: $70,304 - $109,200 USD.
