Big Fish Recruitment is hiring a Senior GIS Specialist in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on behalf of a leading real estate developer. The role focuses on integrating GIS and BIM workflows to support infrastructure design, geospatial data management, and collaboration across project stakeholders.
**About the Role:**
The Senior GIS Specialist will play a key role in managing geospatial databases, supporting BIM and GIS integration, performing spatial analysis, and ensuring the quality and consistency of GIS datasets. The position requires strong GIS technical skills, BIM workflow understanding, and coordination ability in consultancy-driven project environments.
**Responsibilities:**
- Coordinate Lead Appointed Party infrastructure designs within BIM and GIS environments.
- Evaluate pre-contract and post-contract BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
- Develop and manage geospatial databases.
- Standardize GIS datasets and maintain data consistency.
- Perform spatial modelling and geospatial analysis.
- Review GIS datasets for accuracy, completeness, and quality control.
- Conduct research and testing of new digital engineering tools.
- Prepare drafts, calculations, and analytical outputs for BIM environment integration.
- Support coordination across project stakeholders involved in design and delivery.
- Ensure proper configuration and management of GIS and BIM-related data.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in project consultancy and project management.
- Strong consulting background is preferred.
- Proficiency in GIS desktop software and GIS data management.
- Proficiency in BIM workflows and BIM data management.
- Ability to configure and manage data effectively.
- Proficiency in both English and Arabic languages.
