**About the Role:**

We’re seeking a GIS-focused Project Manager to support Ireland’s transition to a low-carbon future. This role involves managing Ground Site Investigation (GSI) and landowner engagement activities within Ireland’s electrical transmission network, supporting planning, feasibility, and delivery of high-voltage infrastructure projects.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Manage GSI and landowner engagement activities in coordination with consultants and contractors.

- Oversee factual reports that feed into planning submissions and detailed design stages.

- Coordinate with public engagement and legal teams to finalize landowner maps and agreements.

- Support the procurement of GSI contractors via existing frameworks.

- Collaborate closely with stakeholders and project teams on documentation, milestones, and execution.

- Ensure adherence to Mace and client safety, environmental, and wellbeing policies.

- Monitor project KPIs, risk registers, change control procedures, and programme governance.

- Lead design and consultant teams to meet deliverables on time and within budget.

- Maintain all project documentation (project reports, risk logs, issue registers, etc.).

- Deliver infrastructure aligned with Ireland’s 2030 Climate Action Plan.

**Skills and Requirements:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical field (5+ years relevant experience required).

- Strong knowledge of geotechnical investigation, compulsory purchase orders, and land agreements.

- Experience in infrastructure project delivery within utilities or electrical transmission.

- Strong leadership and communication skills.

- High political and organizational awareness; ability to influence at all levels.

- Familiarity with sustainability, carbon reduction, and environmental planning is a plus.

- Clean driver’s license required.

- Membership in RICS, CIOB, ICE, APM, or equivalent preferred.

- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in complex infrastructure environments.
